Millions of people in Great Britain are now regular users of natural health care and proactive self-help approaches but these people regularly stand by frustrated as far reaching decisions are made by the government about forms of farming, energy generation, education and healthcare spending priorities which promote economic growth often at the expense of public health and well-being.

There is a lack of a unified voice to challenge the interests of the intensive agricultural, pharmaceutical and petrochemical industries. The experience and knowledge of leaders in the field of IM is too often overlooked by the media and not included in Government debates. It is the aim of IHT that these people will have a voice and that the integrated health movement is properly represented at the highest national level in the future.
